Two new mosaic damscus folderknives have been added to the gallery. These are two quite big folders inspired by an old flintlock pistol.
The knives are both made in mosaic damascus forged by Mattias Styrefors. The smaller folder have scales made in mammoth and the bigger folder have scales in reindeer horn engraved by Jonas Sandström.

This is the first knife we have finished with our own damscus. The damascus is forged from 15N20 and 15LM both carbonsteels.
The blade is random damscus and the bolster is a w-pattern damascus. The handle is made out of fossil walrus ivory and desertironwood.
Two new knives knives have been added to the gallery. The knife below is one of them and has a mosaic damascusblade, the handle is made out of mammoth ivory and stabilized curlybirch. The engravings are made by Jonas Sandström.
Three knives have been added to the gallery today, two older knives and one new knife. Below can you see a picture of what else we have been working on this summer, our new smithy! On the picture you can see our 50kg airhammer being moved into position.
We still have some work to do before our smithy is finished, but we are hoping to have most of it finished til Christmas. We were able to finish the folders just in time for Helsinki knife show that was held on the 8th of Januari.
More pictures of the folders can be found in the gallery. |
